Socialmente, existen grandes brechas relativas al suministro de servicios básicos y saneamiento; y, últimamente, la delincuencia viene ganando terreno.

El programa Periodismo y Democracia de IDEA Internacional reunió a 32 periodistas de 15 regiones del Perú para enfrentar los desafíos actuales del periodismo con soluciones innovadoras.
